Don’t panic! If the library doesn’t have the book or article you need, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is here to save the day.

What is ILL?
It’s a service that lets you borrow books, articles, DVDs, and more from other libraries across the country (and sometimes the world!). Basically, if we don’t have it, we’ll find it for you. We're cool like that.

How does it work?

1. Search the library catalog. Didn’t find what you want?
2. Fill out an ILL request form or click the “Request via ILL” button if you see it.
3. We’ll track down the item from another library.
4. Once it arrives, we’ll notify you to pick it up (usually at the front desk).

How long does it take?
Books usually take about 5–10 days to arrive. Articles often come faster—sometimes the same day! So if you need something quick, let us know early.

Any costs?
Nope! ILL is free for students and faculty.
