Jackie’s love for libraries started young—back when her small hometown had just one librarian juggling both the school and public libraries. She spent countless hours shelving books, learning library systems, and soaking up the magic of being surrounded by stories. That spark never faded. Jackie worked at her hometown library through college, then spent four years teaching elementary school before following her heart into library science. Now, she’s thrilled to serve the students and faculty of LeTourneau University while pursuing her doctorate in higher education leadership.
Outside of work, Jackie’s world revolves around her husband, their two energetic daughters, and a good balance of books, baking, and laughter. She also finds joy in serving and fellowshipping with her church family at New Beginnings Baptist Church.
