Ezzie hails from a tiny Southwest Texas border town called Quemado. The town had one blinking light and a modest public library that gave her a window to the rest of the world. Quemado First Baptist church formed the foundation on which she grew. A desire for a Christian higher education led her to Baylor University where a work-study position at Baylor’s Science & Engineering Library launched her love of library work. Ezzie is thankful for the honor and a privilege of serving as a reference librarian at LeTourneau University.
When not working or taking care of her family she can be found sitting in the yard with her chickens or paddling a kayak in any of East Texas’ magnificent lakes.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” - Psalm 32:8
