Dual Credit Students

High-school students taking LeTourneau University classes have access to the same library services and resources available to other enrolled students.

Welcome to the Dual Credit Student Guide

Welcome!
If you're taking dual credit courses through LeTourneau University, we invite you to explore this Library Guide created just for you. It includes helpful resources and highlights just a few of the many services we offer to support your academic journey. Thank you, and welcome to LETU Libraries!

So, what's different?

You may be familiar with your high school or public library—but university libraries are a bit different. Not only are they typically much larger, but they also serve a wider range of purposes. For example:

  • They support both student coursework and faculty research, which often spans a wide variety of specialized and advanced topics.
  • They subscribe to scholarly journals and databases, providing digital access to academic resources that aren't usually available elsewhere.
  • They organize materials using the Library of Congress Classification System, which is different from the Dewey Decimal System used in many school and public libraries.
